Daring design and international prestige

Since a very young age the designer Maria Dolores has felt the pull of art and authenticity. After graduating with a BA in Design she came up with her first accessories – all for personal use. The striking look of her creations soon had its first buyers. Not long after she entered a partnership with a large jewellery brand, where several collections were signed by her.

Years later the desire to explore her creative independence and have her own brand took her to Italy, where she specialized in Accessories Design, studying in acclaimed schools such as Arti Orafi and Metallo Nobile. Her return to Brasil was announced along with her first collection and her homonymous brand. Soon noble metals and Brazilian stones became the protagonists of her creations, whilst remaining faithful to her irreverent and audacious style.

Mixing fashion and art, Maria Dolores Design is famous for its geometrical lines and exclusive, unusual stone cuts. The Brazilian fashion scene adopted the designs quickly and that resulted in partnerships with several famous stylists. Soon the brand began its expansion abroad – now Maria Dolores has a showroom in the U.S. and a store in Barcelona. Today there are twelve stores, five showrooms and resellers located in every major city in Brazil.

With its cool and sophisticated design, Maria Dolores releases several collections each year and never tires to surprise the woman who sees in the accessories she wears a way to express her own authenticity.
